The Agency has made a move into the lucrative NSW Central Coast market with the hiring of an acknowledged high-performance local agent.

Brian Whiteman, ranked fifth in the 2017 REB Dealmakers ranking and previously with McGrath, will be joining The Agency along with his wife Jennifer and team.

The Whitemans have achieved “enormous” success, which is why they partnered with The Agency, said CEO Matt Lahood.

“Brian and Jennifer Whiteman run an outstanding business on the Central Coast. They are hugely respected in their local community and have an extensive and loyal client follow,” the CEO said.

The Whitemans entered the real estate industry only four years ago, and since that time they have sold 411 properties totalling over $313 million in sales.

Mr Whiteman was ranked second in the McGrath network earlier this year, and he got a top 5 finish in the REB Dealmakers ranking.

Mr Whiteman said that his success is due to team effort, with his wife and associate agent Joshua Froud playing a big part.

“My wife Jennifer is amazing in helping our clients get their homes ready for sale, with styling advice and marketing expertise to make sure the property pops.

“Joshua Froud has been an amazing associate agent when it comes to pricing homes and his great skill with clients. He makes them feel at ease during the stress of settlement.”

As for himself, Mr Whiteman said that it is all about the customers and their experience.

“I focus on being a good listener and strong negotiator in maximising the sale price of the homes we sell. It’s all about customer service and exceeding their expectations,” the agent said.

For The Agency, the move to the Central Coast is about following the market as people move out of Sydney due to rising costs.

“The synergies between Sydney and the Central Coast are important,” Mr Lahood said. “Many of our existing clients own investment holiday homes on the Central Coast. Combining our databases is a powerful resource for both businesses.”
