Ray White has opened a new office in the heart of the eastern suburbs to attract blue-chip workers in the prominent city market.

Ray White has opened a new office in Burnside, in the heart of Adelaide’s eastern suburbs, the third business for owners Brett and Kirsty Pilgrim.

Setting this office apart from others in the industry is its lack of a reception desk or workstations for agents.

The owners said that the office interior was inspired by the cafés in the area.

“Our culture is fun and provides a real buzz around the office. This is a real estate office where everyone is close and has each other’s back,” Mr Pilgrim said.

The office is set up for the administration team to have stations at the rear of the office, but the two front rooms incorporate couches, tables and chairs plus a long bar with high chairs.

Mr Pilgrim said that agents effectively hot-desk and locals feel comfortable to enter, have coffee and a chat in a welcoming environment.

“Culture is something we pride ourselves on. We do a lot of the little things right and think of ways we can improve it with everything we do for our team,” Mr Pilgrim said.

The Pilgrims bring with them a team of familiar faces from their Adelaide office who have all been selling in the eastern suburbs already.

“We have a great foundation and we offer a place for agents that want a great place to work but need help to get to that next level,” Mr Pilgrim said.

Ray White SA/NT chief executive officer Matt Lindblom said that the Adelaide group under the Pilgrims had already achieved so much and this was just the start.

“We are very proud of Brett and Kirsty Pilgrim and their high-performing team on the official opening of their third office, Ray White Burnside.

“The team at Ray White in South Australia made a decision just under two years ago to focus on growing our market share in the eastern suburbs and Ray White Burnside is another positive step in this direction,” Mr Lindblom said.
