A new partnership is launching an advanced AI robot to help real estate agents communicate with and sell to the Chinese market.

Chinese property portal Juwai.com has partnered with AI and service robot company Singou Technology Ltd to build a product that allows real estate agents who don’t speak Mandarin to be able to assist potential Chinese buyers.

Carrie Law, the CEO of Juwai.com, said that Juwai.com was excited about the partnership and what it could mean for the market.

“Juwai.com is excited to be partnering with such an innovative company as Singou and its inspiring leader, Dr Hon Chi Tin.

“We want to leverage this partnership with Singou to provide better service to Chinese international property buyers and our international property marketing customers,” the CEO said.

Singou’s AI, engine along with Juwai.com’s data and insights, will be put into Singou’s newest robot, Butler 1.

Butler 1 is designed to be friendly, approachable and will speak Mandarin, allowing real estate offices to serve Chinese consumers even when no one on staff speaks Mandarin.

Ms Law said that the robot is essentially a body to the powerful AI and allows them to have a presence anywhere in the world.

“The robot is essentially a carrier that lets our AI consumer service engine be present in real estate sales offices anywhere in the world. The robot has the same AI brain and intelligence as our chatbot.

“With Singou’s Butler 1 robot, international property marketers can provide high-quality service to Chinese buyers.”

Dr Hon Chi Tin, the CEO of Singou Technology, said that a robot was the perfect choice for the real estate industry.

“A robot is superior to a fixed device, smart speaker or smart furniture. A robot has all the same benefits, plus the great advantage of being able to move and approach people just like another person would,” the CEO said.

The project is still in its early stages, but the first robot will be in Australia within a month, with Juwai.com expecting there to be as many as a few hundred by the end of 2019.
