A high-ranking REB Top 50 Women in Real Estate is the champion agent in the Harcourts network after placing first in sales at the Harcourts Group Australia National Awards.

High-performance agent Stephanie Williams, of Harcourts Williams in Adelaide, was named Harcourts Number One Sales Consultant across its network in Australia.

Ms Williams won the award for the second straight year, and she is also now the only Australian real estate sales consultant in the Harcourts International top 10, ranking in second place overall.

The Harcourts Group Australia National Awards were held at the end of May on the Gold Coast.

Ms Williams said that she was thrilled to have won.

“Going ‘back to back’ is really amazing and I am honoured to receive this recognition for my sales results for a second time,” the winning agent said.

Ms Williams said that being number one in the Australian network is “not an easy thing to do”.

“I know that last year was quite phenomenal and I am loving the fact that I have been able to do this for two years in a row and all from right here in South Australia.”

Ms Williams said that goal setting and a passion for business is the cornerstone of her success.

“My personal goal is to sell in excess of $100 million in property sales every year, and to also support and mentor the amazing team of people around me,” Ms Williams said.

“Last year, we were also fortunate enough to sell 50 per cent of the top 10 properties sold in South Australia.

“As business owners, John and I prefer to lead by example by being ‘out in the field’ with our team of sales consultants. It has never been our intention to operate and grow our business by sitting behind a desk; we love being among it.”

Ms Williams recognised her husband and business partner, John, as well as her team members.

“The entire Williams Team are a really amazing group of professional people who all support me and provide a positive, professional and inspiring environment to work in every day of the week.

“They really are a well-oiled machine of professionals who are an absolute pleasure to be around. I also thanked all my amazing clients who allow me to represent them in the sale of their absolutely stunning homes and all of our external suppliers, stylists, photographers and so on, who are also an integral part of our business.”

CEO of Harcourts Group Australia Marcus Williams (no relation) said that the “coveted” number-one spot is not an easy berth to attain.

“Stephanie is an exceptional professional who understands the commitment required to be a success,” the Harcourts CEO said.

“Her work ethic is second to none and the level of detail that goes into each and every client interaction is phenomenal. To consistently achieve these results takes grit, determination and a mental pledge to offer nothing but the best.”

Ms Williams was ranked 16th in the REB Top 50 Women in Real Estate for 2017. She sold $102 million in the year at an average of $1.6 million per sale in 20 average days on market.
