One highly niched network has shown how to punch above its weight as it has been recognised as a finalist across no less than five categories in the 2018 REB Awards, Australia’s most coveted industry awards.

Di Jones has been shortlisted for the Boutique Network of the Year – 39 or less offices and Training and Education Program of the Year categories, while Rob Ward has been shortlisted for Principal of the Year – Metropolitan, Jane Schumann for Sales Campaign of the Year and Caitlin Ellis for Office Administrator of the Year.

CEO Rob Ward said he is thrilled at the extent of the shortlistings.

“It is an outstanding achievement for Di Jones to be recognised as a finalist for the REB Awards,” the CEO said.

“Our commitment to education and training is at the heart of our agency and it is exciting to have this acknowledged. As a boutique network, we are striving to help consumers make decisions about their most valuable asset, and being shortlisted is wonderful for our team of dedicated real estate professionals.”

He lauded both Ms Schumann’s and Ms Ellis’ contributions.

“It’s exciting to see Jane Schumann’s sales campaign for the penthouse at the Macleay Regis shortlisted. The outcome was exceptional, with over 250 groups through and 21 contracts issued. After 28 days on market and with a price guide of $6 million, the unique property sold for $8,750,000.

“Our support staff play a key role and Caitlin Ellis has again showed that she is at the top of her field after being shortlisted for the second year in a row.”

REB managing editor Tim Neary said that the REB Awards is the biggest event of the year in Australian real estate.

“The awards are the most sought-after business awards for the real estate industry in Australia.

“It is a great way to recognise the industry’s high-performance agents, property managers, BDMs and businesses, those who are able to flourish in the face of the industry’s ongoing challenges.”
