The annual REB Awards has attracted a new principal partner for 2018 in the form of property platform onthehouse.com.au.

Onthehouse.com.au is a business of property data and analytics company CoreLogic and is both a listings portal and home of property research.

General manager consumer and innovation David Maire said that onthehouse.com.au was excited to partner with the awards to show commitment to the industry.

“We’ve come on board as a principal partner to reinforce CoreLogic’s commitment to our industry and continue [our] focus on solutions like onthehouse.com.au that help agents and franchises succeed,” Mr Maire said.

Mr Maire said that the partnership would help to showcase the benefit of onthehouse.com.au throughout all stages of home ownership.

“We will show our industry participants that onthehouse.com.au has a compelling proposition for agents to help them reach more consumers and sell properties faster,” the GM said.

Mr Maire said that the awards are a great chance to celebrate success and bring together the industry.

“The awards are an opportunity to see the best in our industry acknowledged in front of their peers and bring together our brightest to network, share stories and celebrate successes,” the GM said.

REB editor Tim Neary said that the awards are the most sought-after business awards for the real estate industry.

He said that interest in this year's awards has been unprecedented, with the avalanche of submissions across setting new records across all of the categories.

Mr Neary also said that the judging process to decide on the winners was transparent and was conducted by respected industry leaders.

“It includes the insights and opinions of a team of judges, ensuring the awards are fair, accurate and unbiased,” Mr Neary said.

For onthehouse.com.au, the awards are a chance to show agents how they can grow by using the brand, Mr Maire said.

“We can assist agents to continue to grow by listing with us where the consumer audience is growing daily, and by leveraging our tools to socialise their brand and listed properties on social media,” the GM said.

Now in its sixth year, the REB Awards will be held at a black-tie event on 19 July at The Star in Sydney. To book tickets, click here.
