Belle Property has launched a new venture in a growing Aussie region to close the gap in the market.
Belle Property Commercial has established Belle Property Retail in Canberra, which will be led by director Nathan Dunn.
Mr Dunn will be backed by retail property expert and head of Belle Property Commercial Michael Hanscomb, who said that Mr Dunn was the perfect lead for the operation.
“Nathan is one of the leading leasing executives in Canberra and was a perfect choice to lead our Belle Property Retail Canberra operation,” Mr Hanscomb said.
Mr Hanscomb believes that there is a gap in the Canberra market and that Belle Property could add real value to the market.
“In my view, there is a real gap in the ACT market of quality agency strategy and delivery of mixed-use and retail development. With our national network and track record, we believe we add real value across the market to developers and landlords.”
Mr Dunn made the move to the Belle Property team to develop a market-leading boutique agency that would focus on retail but with some specialist brokerage and project office leasing services.
“The move to join the Belle Property family was a natural one,” Mr Dunn said. “The phenomenal growth of the Canberra market, coupled with the boutique feel of the Belle Property brand, will provide our customers with an offering not currently available in the ACT.”
The ACT’s mixed-use and retail market is currently undergoing dramatic changes, with lots of construction underway and planned.
For Mr Hanscomb, that made it the perfect time to enter the market and they have already made in-roads in the ACT market via the residential sector in Kingston.
“Canberra and the Greater ACT is a very strategic market for the Belle Property Group as a whole,” Mr Hanscomb said.
The head of Belle Property said that the residential and retail offices would show to the ACT that Belle Property is dedicated to the area and market.
“Our residential arm of the business in Kingston is performing extremely well and the Belle Property brand resonates very well with the local market.
“By coming into the market with Belle Property Retail Canberra, it indicates how dedicated we are to growing our commercial and residential footprint in this market.”
