One of Australia’s largest networks has appointed a new CEO for its South Australia and Northern Territory businesses.
Harcourts Group Australia has announced the appointment of Gregg Toyama to the role of Harcourts South Australia/Northern Territory CEO.
Mr Toyama transitions into the role after serving as head of e-business for Harcourts International since 2006, leading the team that developed the franchise network’s suite of bespoke technology applications.
CEO Marcus Williams said that he was thrilled with Mr Toyama’s promotion.
“Highly respected within our group as well as the real estate industry, Gregg has a unique combination of skill and experience that the Harcourts state leadership role requires,” Mr Williams said.
“Ultimately, Gregg is responsible for the growth of our footprint, our people and the brand in South Australia and the Northern Territory. We are extremely pleased he has accepted this senior role.”
Mr Williams said that Mr Toyama is an important cog in the Harcourts machine.
“As an integral partner in our South Australia franchise business, Gregg [has] strong relationships and [his] brilliant leadership will be a strong asset for our business owners.

A long-time resident of Adelaide, Mr Toyama carries a career in real estate that spans over 28 years and included leadership and strategic business development roles with major real estate franchise networks in both Australia and the US.
Mr Toyama’s e-business products were recognised by Apple as best in class in 2015. These products are also behind Harcourts picking up the REB Innovator of the Year Award in 2017.
