Harcourts adds 3 senior execs to its board

Harcourts International has appointed three new members to its board as it prepares for future growth and continues to extend its influence across the Australian real estate market.

The international franchise network has welcomed Susan Rix AM, Tim Keenan and Graham Mirabito to its board, joining current members Gilbert Enoka, Mike and Irene Green, and Paul Wright.

Managing director Mike Green said that the current board was pleased to have the three join the board.

“Each is a leader in their respective industries and understands the unique opportunities Harcourts has to accelerate the way we can do business,” Mr Green said.

“Their experience with best-in-category businesses as well as their insight will be invaluable to Harcourts, our franchise business owners and to our clients.”

Ms Rix is a tax and advisory partner with BDO in Brisbane. She is an accomplished business leader with over 35 years of experience as a chartered accountant and corporate adviser.

She specialises in corporate governance, family councils, succession planning, taxation structures and restructuring.

An experienced company director and chair, Ms Rix has served in board roles spanning the private, not-for-profit and government sectors in diverse industries including agriculture, rail, ports, infrastructure, disability services and education.

Ms Rix was made a Member of the General Division of the Order of Australia in June 2014, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants, Australia and New Zealand, and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Mr Keenan is director of Qalibre, a financial and commercial advisory firm based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

He is an experienced commercial adviser with over 25 years of practice as a chartered accountant in New Zealand.

Mr Keenan is a member of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand.

Having experience in formal governance roles on both for-profit and not-for-profit Canterbury-based organisations, Mr Keenan has chaired both full boards and finance and audit sub-committees, as well as driven accountability across management teams and owners for business performance.

Mr Mirabito has over 35 years of experience in the information technology industry, including 10 years in engineering, five years in sales and marketing, and 20 years in operations, mergers, acquisitions and general management.

During the last 12 years, Mr Mirabito was CEO of RP Data /CoreLogic, a leader in property data and analytics in Australia, New Zealand, UK, China and India.

He now manages a personal portfolio of FinTech and ReTech investments in the USA, Australia, the Middle East and India. Previously, he has held executive roles with Telstra, Solution 6 and Ross Recruitment.

Mr Mirabito holds an Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Queensland University of Technology.
