McGrath Estate Agents has opened a new office in one of the fastest-rising markets in NSW as it looks to accelerate its recovery into sustained profitability.
McGrath has opened in Avoca Beach on the booming Central Coast region of NSW.
McGrath Avoca Beach will be led by Jaimie Woodcock and Mat Steinwede.
Mr Woodcock and Mr Steinwede opened their first McGrath office in Terrigal in 2005, and this will be the sixth office for the Central Coast group, currently comprising of Terrigal, Gosford, Ettalong, Toukley and Long Jetty.
McGrath founder and executive director John McGrath said that the Central Coast of NSW offers a range of opportunities.
“The Central Coast continues to be an important real estate market and offers a diverse range of properties in all price brackets, and [it is] increasingly popular among Sydneysiders who are attracted by its lifestyle.
“Principals Jaimie Woodcock and Mat Steinwede were our very first franchise partners when we opened our first office on the Central Coast over 13 years ago, and I’m delighted to witness their outstanding success and expansion over the years.”
Mr Woodcock said that it has been an “amazing” journey.
“Opening our sixth office in the region demonstrates our ongoing commitment to this important market.
We’ve been servicing the residents of Avoca Beach from our Terrigal office since 2005, and decided to further expand our footprint and create a greater presence within the local community.”
Mr Woodcock said that Avoca Beach is an “extremely sought-after” area.
“It offers a variety of choice in terms of property, with options ranging from beautiful holiday houses to exclusive residential homes.
“It’s a perfect holiday area with a real village feel. Many families are generational holidaymakers that have been coming back for many years. The rockpool and patrolled beach is safe for kids, making this destination extremely popular for school holidays.
“The area is also preferred by owner-occupiers, especially young families wanting their children to attend the nearby Avoca Beach Primary School which has an excellent reputation. We’ve seen a significant influx of our buyers in Avoca Beach relocating from Sydney, wanting a quieter beachside suburb for themselves.”
Mr Woodcock and Mr Steinwede will lead a team of two prominent agents and area specialists: Chris Andrews and Steve Nixon.
