A long-time family-owned business at Ray White Shailer Park in southeast of Brisbane has a new leader, as the reigns are handed over to a new principal after more than 20 years.

Rebecca Hoswell is the new principal of Ray White Shailer Park.

She has a wealth of experience in the property management sector and has worked within the business as head of the department for the last seven years.

Ms Hoswell said that her plan is to grow the business.

“I am really looking forward to growing and improving the business and team substantially over the coming months,” the principal said.

She said that the existing team members will remain on in the business, and that she has plans to expand the team in the future.

“We are really looking forward to cementing our status as the local experts in our community.”

Ray White Queensland CEO Tony Warland said that Ms Hoswell has built a reputation for maintaining “exceptionally high standards” in her property management team.

He said that he expects her to be bringing this same level of energy to the rest of the business.

Mr Warland said that he was “thrilled” to see Ms Hoswell step up from the ranks of property management into business ownership.

“It is a natural move for Rebecca to take the reigns as business owner,” the CEO said.

“And she already exemplifies the qualities we look for in a leader here at Ray White. We look forward to supporting her in her ambitions.”

The change comes as Keith Nicholson hands over the family business to Ms Hoswell.

Keith’s father, Ray Nicholson, is well known in the area.

Mr Nicholson has worked in the business for more than 20 years, and he will be continuing on in it as an active sales agent.
