RE/MAX has launched a new digital connection platform to its Australian and New Zealand networks, in what it is calling the most significant milestone in its digital transformation.

Built in partnership with Microsoft, the new platform is called Precinct.

It is a one-stop RE/MAX members portal, where members have access to key business tools and training resources. Inside the portal, they are able to share ideas, get real-time alerts, celebrate successes and utilise Microsoft productivity tools.

Director Chris Chapman said that the new platform is a big step forward for the network.

“Precinct brings everything RE/MAX together,” Mr Chapman said.

“It is fully integrated with the network, and at the fingertips of RE/MAX franchise owners, administrators, agents, property managers and our Pivotal Financial specialists.”

Mr Chapman said that Precinct is available anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.

“We recognise that agents need and want to be more mobile, so growing our online community is critical to giving agents access to the benefits of a strong network.

“Precinct is a key milestone in our digital transformation, where we’ve already rolled out new Australian and New Zealand consumer websites and a new email platform.”

Better

Mr Chapman said that the initiative doesn’t stop there.

“We’re also developing our own data warehouse where we can collect and distribute information and knowledge from outside the network and from within. It is important to understand we are not simply talking about more data but the right data that we are feeding back to the network as insights that will help improve their business,” the director said.

“Our pride in the RE/MAX community has led to this open sharing of information — a knowledge network; this is about strengthening the community.”

He also said that it has been a collaborative effort.

“To date, we have built Precinct for our members, and now we will build it with them,” Mr Chapman said.

“Multiple bolt-on services — built around AI and productivity tools, for example — will be released in 2019 to help agents grow their business.

“Our industry is in a constant state of innovation and change. Precinct is no different and will continue to grow and adapt to our members’ needs.”
