OBrien Real Estate has been nationally recognised as it has been nominated as a finalist in the REIA National Awards for Excellence.
OBrien is up for the communication excellence award for its “Real Life. Real Stories. Real Estate Agents” campaign.
General manager Jason Mudford said that the award recognises excellence in marketing, advertising and communication.
“The OBrien team will be up against some of the nation’s best agencies in this category,” the GM said.
“OBrien had over 25 client ambassadors representing the campaign through video, radio, social and print.”
Mr Mudford said that all client ambassadors were real-life customers.
“It was great meeting our customers and [hearing] why they chose OBrien. It was very fulfilling knowing that we made a difference in their life.”
Mr Mudford said that the “overwhelming success” of the campaign has been humbling.
OBrien was in the news recently when it opened its 27th office in just a handful of years, despite the current challenges in the market, in the Melbourne suburb of Preston.
OBrien established its first franchise office in February 2013, and this latest office is located in the growth belt of Melbourne’s inner northern suburbs.
Mr Mudford said at the time that the move confirmed the niche network’s ambitious growth plans.
“The strategy over the last 12 months into moving to the new regions is in perfect alignment with the vision of building a 50-plus office network.
“OBrien Real Estate launched on the southeast side of Melbourne, and until recently, it had grouped most of its offices together on the east side of the Yarra River. But now you’ll find four recently opened OBrien offices in the west and north regions, with more to come.”
