Australian real estate pioneer Glen Coutinho has joined the Harcourts USA team, as Harcourts International expands its American network.

Mr Coutinho will take up the position of director of growth and training for the Pacific Region, and will become the owner of a new office in Beverly Hills.

Harcourts International managing director, Mike Green, said he is pleased to welcome Mr Coutinho to the group.

He said that combining Mr Coutinho’s experience with the Harcourts brand is an exciting development for the group in the Los Angeles market.

“Glen is the consummate real estate professional, a great guy and someone who embraces our Harcourts values,” said Mr Green.

“His reputation for providing exceptional client service and continually surpassing expectations is well-known. He has been a good friend of our group for more than 30 years so to finally have him join the Harcourts team and for us to have the opportunity to work with him is exceptionally exciting.”

Mr Green said that, with a career spanning over 30 years, Mr Coutinho’s client service, speaking and auctioneering skills are widely recognised.

Mr Coutinho said this new chapter is an extension of his long relationship with Harcourts. .

“With two of my sons recording music in LA, the opportunity to work with an established brand with people I already know and trust here in the USA was a simple fit,” said Mr Coutinho.

“I am a customer service fanatic and I enjoy having the same values as the company. The core value of ‘People First’ is one that resonates with me at the heart of everything I do, in my professional and person life.”

Mr Coutinho’s LA office is on Camden Drive in Beverly Hills, one street from the iconic Rodeo Drive.

Mr Coutinho is a director of RT Edgar Boroondara in Melbourne, and has been ranked in the top 10 of the REB Top 100 Agents for the past six years running.
