A veteran agent who has been at the forefront of the business in Sydney’s inner west suburbs for over 40 years has joined Laing+Simmons, as the niche network gears up for expansion in 2019.
Nicholas Katsikaros has joined the Laing+Simmons Glebe office.
Mr Katsikaros said that the real estate market is always changing.
“We recognised that heading into 2019 we needed greater flexibility and a new brand to ensure our offer continues to resonate with our customers,” he said.
“Our point of difference is our experience at the local level. We know the area, we know the people, and our brand must empower us to engage with the local community in a way that we know works.
“We’re excited to join the Laing+Simmons brand and embark on a new era of growth so we can serve the Glebe community for many years to come.”
Mr Katsikaros said that expansion is on the agenda for Laing+Simmons Glebe.
He said that the team is developing a comprehensive workforce planning and recruitment strategy, and will also focus on growing its rent roll.
“We see property management as a key growth area in 2019 as investors focus on maximising returns and protecting their investment against the backdrop of a subdued economy,” Mr Katsikaros said.
“We specialise in fostering great relationships with quality tenants to give our landlords peace of mind, which is crucial in times like these.”
