Stone Real Estate has recruited an experienced project marketing specialist to cover Sydney, the Central Coast and the Illawarra regions.

Marshall Cobb has joined the Stone group, along with his entire team, and has rebranded his independent agency — formally PropertySource — to Stone Projects.

Mr Cobb brings more than 20 years of project marketing experience, having previously worked with LJ Hooker and McGrath before co-founding PropertySource in 2007.

Mr Cobb said that he and his team look forward to compounding their success under the Stone banner.

He said that he was attracted to the sophistication of Stone’s marketing technology and its brand prestige.

“Stone is streets ahead of everyone else with technology and marketing,” Mr Cobb said.

“In this currently slow market, agents need to use every possible marketing avenue to find buyers and convert them to sales. Stone’s website technology is brilliant and encourages ‘stickiness’ by engaging people with tools like Furnish which allows buyers to click and drop furniture into a floor plan, and make sure their furniture fits.

“Stone has a terrific management team and enormous growth potential. I believe that they will be a powerhouse in the Australian real estate market, and I definitely want to be a part of that.”

Mr Cobb said of his business that it has something for everyone.

“From the leafy Upper North Shore to the booming high-growth regions in Greater Western Sydney. We are different to other project marketing groups in that we are transparent, low pressure and provide copious amounts of information online.

“All our project listings include floor plans, floor levels, schedule of finishes, colour guides, high-quality images and clear price guides. Buyers really appreciate the opportunity to make an informed decision and feel confident that they are buying the most appropriate property for their circumstances.”

He said that the Stone brand brings credibility to the business.

“[It] will allow us to attract further high-quality talent to our team.

“We have had several approaches from developers and salespeople who want to jump on board after they heard whispers we were joining Stone.”

Stone Real Estate franchise director Luke Cameron said that Mr Cobb’s enthusiasm, talent and experience are enormous assets for the network.

“We are opening up an entirely new division and Marshall’s excellent track record is the perfect start,” Mr Cameron said.

“He is [a] well-known, well-connected and well-respected operator and we are hugely excited about launching Stone Projects into the marketplace.”
