Leading real estate mentor and coach Sherrie Storor has announced that her trademark networking and role modeling Women in Real Estate Business Breakfast will be back in 2019, with an additional destination to reach more women in the industry in conjunction with International Women’s Day.

Ms Storor said that she was excited to announce that Adelaide has been added to the event roster, along with Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Ms Storor added that the events go beyond simple business breakfasts.

“The conversations and insights go deeper with two new events. They are specifically designed to provoke change, challenge the status quo, ask the hard questions and provide the answers agents want,” she said.

Ms Storor said that Thomas McGlynn and Leanne Pilkington are among the speakers.

“We have a massive line-up of 32 highly respected speakers across all four events. This International Women’s Day is so important, not just for women, but also for men to truly celebrate the hardworking, inspirational women around them.”

Now in its third year, the event is themed Build Your Best Life.

Topics will explore themes like maternity leave, the future of agents and agencies, female leadership and the pathway to professionalism and profitability.

“Other hot topics being discussed include questions around the need to change society’s view of real estate agents, working after a child is born, creating more female leaders in high-level management positions and on boards, and the controversial issue of quotas,” Ms Storor said.

“We’ll also consider whether or not females make good auctioneers, the shape of agencies of the future, rent rolls and profitability, assisting women in breaking from traditional roles, and debate the male versus female question: who does it better?”
