One of Brisbane’s most successful and well-known commercial agents has joined the Ray White Commercial Qld team as director and head of investment sales.
Tom Barr, who has been in the commercial sales and leasing industry for over 15 years, has joined the Ray White group.
“I’m genuinely excited to be joining the Ray White family and I have visions of a long and successful future across Queensland,” Mr Barr said.
“Having known Dan White for many years, I was attracted to Ray White Commercial and the broader Ray White business due to its core values, culture and the unique opportunity it offers people to partner and grow a successful business together.”
He said he has clear ambitions for the new role.
“Our ambition is to build a lean and dynamic Middle Markets Investment Sales and Office Leasing team that’s well respected within the market and delivers consistent service and exceptional results for our clients.

Ray White group managing director Dan White said he was thrilled that Commercial Qld could attract such a high-calibre agent.

Ray White Commercial Qld executive director Mark Creevey, along with his fellow directors Tony Williams and Matthew Fritzsche, said he was delighted to welcome Mr Barr to the team.
“Tom brings over 15 years of experience, an impressive track record of investment sales and office leasing transactions, and strong relationships with key domestic and offshore clients,” Mr Creevey said.
“In the short term, our aim will be to get Tom integrated into the Ray White network, systems and resources.”
Mr Williams said that, in the mid-term, they aim to support Mr Barr to establish a team of sales and leasing professionals.
“Longer-term, the opportunity exists for Tom for equity and a leadership role across the entire Ray White Commercial Qld business.”
Mr Fritzsche said there is a strategic intent behind Mr Barr’s appointment.
“Tom has proven expertise in a sector of the market we’ve identified as an area of growth for the Ray White Commercial Qld business. He also brings a system of personal beliefs and attitudes that we felt were consistent with that of the current leadership team.”
