Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate has appointed a new Australian CEO, as it launches its business in this country, starting with the opening this quarter of its first 15 offices.
Better Homes and Gardens has appointed Michelle Delaney as its new Australian CEO.
Senior manager at BHGRE parent company Combined Services Frank Knez said that Ms Delaney is well positioned to head up the new business.
“Michelle started her extensive real estate career in Sydney in 1988,” he said.
“She has a strong background in commercial and residential real estate and has more recently been involved in professional consulting, focusing on office and people management, financial analysis, risk management and strategic planning, to mention just some of her skills.”
Mr Knez said that Ms Delaney has a deep understanding of the industry.
“During her career she has had senior roles in some of the country’s leading real estate companies both at office level and corporate level, with one of her roles being head of property management internationally for the group.
“Michelle brings with her a wealth of experience. Not only has she worked as an agent but has managed multi-office networks, developed property management systems and procedures, created platforms to better manage all aspects of a real estate business and implemented these at the highest levels of the real estate industry.”
Mr Knez said that Ms Delaney will take office this month and will assist with the rollout of the first 15 offices opening in May, June and July.
Ms Delaney said she was eager to get started and deliver on her new responsibilities.
“When I first heard that Better Homes [was] opening in Australia, I attended their Brisbane launch, and from that moment onward, I knew I wanted to be part of this most unique and highly respected brand.”
