The line-up for Sherrie Storor’s Women in Real Estate Business Breakfast Series for 2019 has been announced, as the industry puckers up for more optimistic post-election market conditions.

Coach, mentor and speaker Ms Storor said she was excited by the talent that is on offer at this year’s event.

“In 2019, my objective was to take this series and real estate events to a new level, and I could not be more thrilled to announce that this year’s line-up will be all-inclusive,” she said.

“All are represented and all are encouraged to attend. This means that women and men will be on stage representing all facets of the residential industry — thought leaders, CEOs, selling principals and agents, property managers and office managers.”

Ms Storor said the platform has moved with the times.

“I originally began this series wanting to showcase more female voices and role models for women in the real estate industry, but I feel that in the three years since this series began, the landscape has significantly changed.

“As such, I wanted to include the men who are supportive and influential who assist in creating opportunities, roles and new flexible working environments for working women. And it’s time to embrace and celebrate our champions of change, both male and female.

“It is, however, time to further develop the support and collaboration within the real estate community and embrace the female way of selling, leading and working.”

Ms Storor said the breakfast events will be held in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide in August and September.

She said she expects to see more than 1,200 agents attend, nearly doubling last year’s attendance.

“Over the last two years, the events sold out very quickly, and so I wanted to ensure that the venues were larger this year to cater for that demand.

“And the number of speakers has also doubled, with 32 real estate superstars taking to the stage, including two international headliners: Sherry Chris from Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate in USA and Megan Jaffe from Ray White Remuera.

“Both powerful women will be bringing their unique take on the future paths for agents and women in this industry.”
