One of Western Sydney’s popular agents has joined LJ Hooker, after his sales results caught the attention of senior network executives.

Matthew O’Farrell, who was most recently with PRDnationwide, was an attractive find for LJ Hooker Penrith because of his sales results last financial year, according to senior network development manager Jerome Smith.

“Matthew has a great name in the region. He’s a new-generation agent who embraces technology to drive his performance and to create ultimate client experiences,” Mr Smith said.

“The agent of tomorrow, like Matthew, is the type we want to attract and retain for our offices that are in growth mode.”

Mr O’Farrell is confident his sales results will translate to his new role, given the cultural and leadership alignment he has with the Penrith office and its long-serving leader, Peter Stanford.

“At an office level, I resonated with Peter’s leadership style and the systems and structure he has in place,” he said.

“At a network level, I know I’ll get strength of brand, training and support I need, but most importantly, the leadership in the tech space.

“The proprietary platform LJ Hooker is developing will keep me ahead of my competitors in terms of my productivity and efficiency in communicating with my clients.

“I hit the ground running with four listings, and one is already under contract. I’m looking forward to my future with LJ Hooker.”
