Global property agency Raine & Horne Commercial Group is expanding its commercial real estate services into the South West Sydney region with an independent firm in Liverpool joining its network.

Raine & Horne Commercial will now be providing a full suite of commercial property sales, leasing and property management services in South West Sydney with Liverpool-based firm SchellStevens Commercial aligning with the network.

SchellStevens Commercial director Bruce Schell said joining the Raine & Horne Commercial will enable the firm to compete with major corporates and gain access to large-scale digital marketing.

“There is a hole in the commercial space in the Liverpool region for a brand such as Raine & Horne Commercial, particularly as the group has strong nearby offices including Commercial Penrith led by Colin Henry, and Commercial MacArthur headed by Daniel Krobot,” Mr Schell said.

Industrial property sales in the Liverpool area remain buoyant, according to SchellStevens Commercial principal Vincent Stevens, with prevailing industrial market conditions likely to continue for the remainder of 2019 given low interest rates for industrial finance.

“Affordable financing is driving demand for mid-range industrial space up to $2 million,” Mr Stevens said.

“Consequently, there is a lot of tightly held industrial property in the area that might hit the market as owners realise the prices they can achieve.”

While the commercial market is patchy, he noted, there is demand for smaller offices from local owner-occupiers because of low interest rates.
