LJ Hooker Avnu has recruited two additional teams, who have made the move from Savills.

The first of the two teams is headed up by Stephanie Hearne and includes sales agents Stephanie Kelly and Elizabeth Bailey.

Ms Hearne has been recognised as one of REB’s Top 10 agents, having closed more than $60 million in sales last year. She is described as Roseville’s number one agent by market share.

“The proptech that the team behind Avnu are creating will allow me to keep ahead of the market and put all my clients in the best position to maximise their sale price,” Ms Hearne said of her jump to the LJ Hooker team.

“To be invited to join the business was an opportunity too good to refuse.”

The second of the two teams is three property managers led by Max Ma.

Mr Ma, who has joined with his team comprising Kate Walton and Annabelle Morris, was last year named REB’s Property Manager of the Year (Metropolitan).

“I’m excited to have Max on board because of his phenomenal track record in the Upper North Shore market,” said Nick Georges, head of property management for Avnu.

“His ability to build a portfolio, grow and nurture a team and provide high-quality service is very much in line with our goals and what we are achieving at Avnu.

“Together with his team, we will be looking at rapid portfolio growth across the Upper North Shore.”

The latest recruitment comes a week following Avnu confirming its interstate expansion. The move saw the team open its first Avnu Centre in Brisbane’s Bulimba with a team of 22 agents and support staff.

“We’re excited to continue expanding our footprint in Sydney and Brisbane,” said Avnu’s chief performance officer, Christine Mikhael.

“In a market where agents are finding it harder to differentiate their service offering without discounting their commission, Avnu’s technology provides its agents with the differentiator they need, and the real-time updates and transparency that vendors are looking for.”
