The hammer will come down on more than 40 properties across Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia this week as Ray White moves to lift competition.

The move is part of its Apartment Collective auction event, which is designed to create a buzz in certain capital cities.

“The initiative offers both buyers and sellers something totally different, with a focus solely on the inner-city apartment market,” Ray White network performance executive Benjamin Burling said.

“The event is structured to attract a range of active apartment buyers from across Australia in multiple locations.”

It creates an opportunity for vendors to see the entire market while having their property put in the centre stage in a competitive environment, Mr Burling said.

“There’s a real appetite for this type of marketing with sellers as they’re determined to move their stock and are looking for a different strategy over the usual private treaty method.

“Theres also a very active market for well-marketed and well-priced apartments in the city marketplace.”
