The award cabinet is filling up at Methven Professionals Mooroolbark, as the team walked away with a top prize at the REIV Awards for Excellence.
The agency came out on top in the category of Large Residential Agency of the Year, marking the third consecutive year it has received this crown.
What put the team apart from the rest of the contestants was the strength of its business model, its inclusive team culture and its suite of client services.
Geoff Earney and his sons Greg and Brent operate the agency and three others in Victoria.
Despite the scale of their business, each office still holds strong family values and intense focus on client outcomes, Mr Earney said.
“We’re extremely honoured to have won this award for a third consecutive year, as it recognises the incredible effort that our team members put into the business every day,” he said.
“Over the years, we’ve been highly proactive in improving every facet of the business and ultimately enhancing the experience of our buyers and sellers.”
The way this agency does business has trickled across to employee satisfaction, with the average employee staying with the group for more than seven years.
The services provided for clients include an in-house videographer and a concierge who keeps clients up to date with settlement dates, pest inspections and other needs as they come up.
“We’re also proudly hyper-local as we just focus on our local areas,” Mr Earney said.
“We keep ourselves and our team grounded and, at the same time, we always try to do things better. It’s an environment that we’re all proud to be part of.”
