Whether you have a spare room or your advertising campaign through REA Group has been affected by bushfires, the company has tried to remove that pain.

The company has introduced relief initiatives to help those who have been affected by the devastation.

“Like all Australians, our team has been shocked and saddened by the overwhelming impact Australia’s bushfires are having on our local communities and the environment,” REA Group CEO Owen Wilson said.

“We know nothing can take away the devastation experienced by so many, and we will continue to explore ways to help impacted communities in this time of need.”

The company has offered a free service through flatmates.com.au for those who have spare rooms they want to make available to anyone who needs emergency accommodation.

Additionally, it has a Bushfire Relief Support Package for REA customers who have been impacted by the bushfires.

This gives them more advertising options, including extending an advertising campaign for free, getting a refund on properties that have been significantly damaged and also waiving fees for customers who have had their business significantly disrupted.

“Our thoughts remain with all those who have been affected by these bushfires,” Mr Wilson said. “We also express our sincere thanks to the many firefighters, emergency services personnel and volunteers who are working to support and protect our communities.”
