An exclusive ranking has uncovered the real estate agents recording the highest average sale price year-on-year.

The REB Top 100 Agents ranking, partnered exclusively by ActivePipe, has been handed down this week, setting the benchmark for success in residential real estate sales.

Now in its ninth year, the ranking identifies those a cut above the rest, showcasing those agents who have navigated their way through challenging markets and used their expertise to ensure the best results.

Among various factors, this year’s Top 100 Agents ranking looked into average sales per agent.

Collectively speaking, this year’s ranking revealed the average sale price saw a slight decrease to $2.2 million for the top 10, from $2.4 million in 2019. In 2018, the average sale price for the top 10 was $2.5 million, and in 2017 it was $2.0 million.

“The average sale price for the top 100 was much lower collectively at $1.4 million,” the ranking said.

“The average commission for the top 10 in 2020 remained consistent with 2019 at 1.67 per cent.

“In comparison, the average commission for the top 100 sat at 1.77 per cent in 2020.”

When it comes to the agents recording the highest average sale price, Peter Robinson of LJ Hooker Palm Beach came in a cut above the rest, recording the highest average sale price.

Mr Robinson was followed by Michael Kollosche of Kollosche; Richard Shalhoub of McGrath Estate Agents; Tracey Dixon, also of McGrath Estate Agents; and Annika Bongiorno of Stone McMahons Point.
