The boutique real estate business has nabbed two key hires during its latest recruitment drive, as the Northern Beaches-based firm looks to elevate its team and accelerate growth on the region’s upper end.

Rob Matheson and Stacey Hampton will join Cunninghams’ roster in newly created roles that are intended to support all areas of the business.

The two Northern Beaches natives’ onboarding also comes at a critical time. Recently, Cunninghams has expanded its presence in the region’s upper end with new offices and new teams.

Managing director John Cunningham lauded the addition of professionals with “high levels of expertise and knowledge” to its leadership ranks.

The firm’s co-founder explained that the new roles would not only continue to drive performance and culture within the network but will also ensure the longstanding success of the more than three-decade-old business.

“We feel very fortunate to have attracted two candidates at the high calibre of Rob and Stacey for these critical roles and consider this a huge win for our team,” Mr Cunningham stated.

Mr Matheson joins Cunninghams as the head of growth and performance and will be responsible for supporting the sales and property management departments.

With his 24 years of experience in sales and management positions, Mr Matheson is seen as well equipped to bring Cunninghams’ teams to “another level”, the firm said.

Ms Hampton will take on the role of head of people and culture and will oversee all aspects of human resources, helping to deliver people strategies and boost Cunninghams’ culture.

With 20 years of experience in managing human resources across several industries, including financial services, fintech and loyalty and rewards under her belt, Ms Hampton is also responsible for helping employees grow and develop their skills.

Both Mr Matheson and Ms Hampton expressed their excitement over their new roles.

“I am delighted to be joining the business, alongside Rob, John, Bree and the leadership team, and playing a part in shaping the future while working with the team to continue Cunninghams’ incredible success,” Ms Hampton stated.

Mr Matheson shared the same sentiment over the latest milestone in his real estate career.

“Having owned my own real estate business and working with sales teams for [more than] 20 years, I am excited to join the energetic and vibrant team at Cunninghams to use my experience and knowledge to help the entire business,” he stated.

Mr Cunningham provided additional insight into the creation of the new roles.

“For our team to provide the best possible customer service and experiences to our clients, we understand they need to be supported, coached, nurtured, and empowered to deliver service and results at the highest level,” he explained.

“Adding these newly created roles was the natural progression for our ever-expanding team, having two dedicated professionals looking after the four key cornerstones of our business: growth & performance and people & culture.”
