Stone Real Estate has continued its expansion drive, this time entering the Victorian suburb of Whittlesea.

The office, formerly known as Buckingham & Company, will be headed up by Jessica Conte-Singh and Dean Zammit, who took over the agency together late in 2021, having worked together for five years.

Ms Conte-Singh, who noted Stone’s business culture as a main driver of the move, is a local to the area with 13 years of industry experience. She said that the growth of rental prices in the Whittlesea area had been accentuated by the fact that it has become less important for individuals to live nearer to the city. This represents a significant opportunity for the region, even with the strong sales performance of the past 12 months.

“The demand in Whittlesea for rentals has increased dramatically, making the market very competitive and in turn, rent prices have soared. Meanwhile, the sales market has soared, with media property prices up 22.1 per cent for houses and 51.5 per cent for units in the past year,” she said.

“Wide open spaces and an increase in amenities will have the plenty road corridor growing for years to come.”

Mr Zammit, who himself has two decades of industry experience, shared these sentiments and has commended the Stone brand for its “forward thinking company with sophisticated marketing and is highly focused on growth”, which he shared was one of the driving factors behind their alignment decision.

Stone Real Estate head of franchise Luke Cameron said he is looking forward to seeing the brand’s expansion in Victoria continue.

“There’s no doubt that the high-performance connotations of the Stone Real Estate brand continue to catch the eye of business owners around Victoria, as well as the country.

“It’s incredibly pleasing to continue to welcome business owners of the calibre of Jessica and Dean to our family, and I have no doubt that Stone Whittlesea will be able to take advantage of the opportunities in the area in years to come,” he concluded.

The Whittlesea addition is one of a number of new additions to the Stone Real Estate team of late, which has included a new Crows Nest office and a new Hawkesbury office
