Your success strategy

Every day in real estate is game day. It’s the chance to expand your business, raise your profile, and meet more people, with the singular aim of listing and selling more properties.

It’s always “game on”, and this consistency creates results. Consistency and a game-day attitude underpin your success strategy. They create momentum, inch you closer to a goal, and ensure you build on past results.

But what does it take to maintain a “game-on” attitude? And what’s the success strategy this “game-day” perspective is seeking to achieve?

It’s always game on

Real estate is a career where the results we enjoy today are generated by what we did yesterday, last week, last month, and last year.

There’s little room for down days, procrastination days, or days when you simply don’t “feel” like doing what’s required.

Those days cost you in unexpected ways later down the track.

They cost you in terms of lost opportunities, lost momentum and, most importantly, lost financial returns.

They cost you time, they cost you progress, and they cost you the ultimate success you deserve.

Whilst you can never be “on” all the time, it’s important to appreciate that each day offers the chance to embrace a game-day attitude that sets the foundations for your future.

Your primary success strategy

Call it belly-to-belly real estate or a face-to-face interaction; your singular goal in a successful real estate career is to make contact with the right people at the right time.

This is your primary “success strategy” — to get in front of a committed seller, to get in front of a motivated buyer, to speak with the right people in the right way, and then help them achieve their aim.

That’s it. It’s that simple. That’s all you are required to do to have an incredible real estate career.

Break it down

If every day is game day, ensuring you execute your success strategy is easy, especially if you break it down to its simplest denominators.

And these are:

  1. Call back past buyers and vendors
  2. Call back and check in regarding past appraisals
  3. Call back non-transacted contacts
  4. Connect with your sphere of influence
  5. Connect with your fellow colleagues

It’s not about technology. It’s not about scripts and dialogues.

It’s about getting face to face. It’s about forging a real human connection that involves speaking with people, understanding their needs, and finding ways to make their goals happen.

The strategy of the best

When you view every day as a game day where you have the chance to connect with people, speak with them face to face and assist them, the strategy for real estate success is simple.

And long-term success and business growth are equally easy. It just involves doing the same thing tomorrow, the next day, next week, the week after and the week following that.

It’s also effective. This simple success strategy is the same that the best in the business use to create results and build upon them year after year.

It’s not complicated. It’s not hard. And there’s no time like the present to embrace this philosophy. It’s game day today, as it will be tomorrow and the day after that.

Why wait to reap the rewards of your success strategy? Let the results that come from the game day philosophy begin today to reap rewards in the future.
