Owners of nearby LJ Hooker Two Rocks will take the helm of the network’s latest outfit in Butler, 40 kilometres north of the West Australian capital.

Established husband-and-wife duo Katie and Adam Fields take charge of LJ Hooker Butler, harnessing their seven years of regional knowledge to drive the fledgling office. In addition to its namesake, nearby suburbs Alkimos, Eglinton, Jindalee, and Clarkson will be serviced by the new office.

Owner and business operations manager Ms Fields said: “It has always been a vision of ours to expand our business.”

She remarked that her and her husband’s latest office allows them “to have a presence at the other end of the north coast growth region”.

Just 16 minutes separate the two branches, “but the change in the area is just phenomenal”, explained Ms Fields, who expects “it will only become more popular with the new train line and extension of the freeway”.

She is referring to the $713 million Yanchep Railway extension, which began at the end of 2019 and is set for completion towards the end of 2023.

According to the federal Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, and the Arts, “in the long term, the extension will help move more than 150,000 future Yanchep-Two Rocks residents”.

Mr and Mrs Fields will bring the expertise of regarded agent Dave Martin into the business as sales director. Mr Fields, the office’s principal, heralded Mr Martin’s local reputation as “legendary”.

“Dave is one of the most successful yet down-to-earth agents you’ll ever meet. He knows just about everyone and anyone in and around the area. We’re ecstatic to have him on board with us,” he commented.

LJ Hooker general manager Stephen Mutton congratulated the team on its latest office opening, expressing the network is “thrilled to see the team expand their business and strategically”.

“It is important to the LJ Hooker brand to increase its presence in an area with so much development underway,” Mr Mutton said. Furthermore, he detailed the new outfit’s leaders, Mr and Mrs Field, for their avid approach to development.

“Whenever there is a training event or learning seminar, both Katie and Adam are there in the front row, ready to learn, adapt, and change,” Mr Mutton said.

“The Butler marketplace is a natural procession for them with so much exciting activity and the train line which will provide direct access into the CBD.”

With freestanding homes ranging between $450,000 and $550,000 — and the fact that Butler has drawn increased interest from eastern state investors — Mr Fields concluded: “We can’t wait to see what this next chapter holds for us.”
