Group managing director Joel Davoren proclaimed the brand as “incredibly fortunate” to have snapped up its latest appointment.

Deirdre McTiernan joins the RE/MAX Extreme team after over a decade garnering industry experience, initially in Ireland, before moving to Western Australia, where her career launched with HomeStart, a division of the BGC Housing Group.

Having immersed herself in the local market for a decade, Mr Davoren said that “there would be little she doesn’t know about the Perth market”, adding Ms McTiernan possesses “a great experience base and demonstrates expertise in the real estate sales arena to an exceptional level”.

Ms McTiernan attributes her real estate success to date to the importance she places on relationships, a factor ratified by a high number of referrals she receives, as well as the fact it is common for her to sell four to five properties on the same street.

Commended by many for her relationships building, client-first attitude and exceptional service, she admitted to investing heavily into these aspects of the industry since her early career days but noted a need to “work with a company where [she] could expand [her] business”.

She explained how RE/MAX stuck out, citing several factors, including the brand’s culture and commitment to her growth, adding “the respect shown to [her] from the first conversation, and how they work with the Australian network” highlighted the pair’s suitability.

Having recharged over the Christmas period in County Clare, Ireland, Ms McTiernan has reportedly taken to life at RE/MAX Extreme like a duck to water, boosting the business with her reputation, experience, and listings, including key properties in City Beach, Yokine, Canning Vale, and Helena Valley.

She follows Tracy Kriwopischin, who joined the RE/MAX Extreme team in July in a business development manager capacity, primarily focusing on the office’s property management business and rent roll expansion.

2022 also saw RE/MAX expand across the country, including a quintet of office openings in January, as well as a myriad of advances into the Queensland market, which included establishing outposts in Mackay and Victoria Point.
