Bondi agent achieves record clearance rate

By Staff Reporter 12 August 2009 | 5 minute read

Laing+Simmons Bondi Beach office has won the company’s highest auction clearance rate award for the fifteenth consecutive year.

In the year to 30 June 2009, the agent achieved an average clearance rate of 81 per cent.

Agent Albert Sassoon said the key to success was honest and transparent communication with both buyers and vendors.

“By keeping the lines of communication open with the vendor and interested buyers, as well as using reasonable and realistic comparable sales to define the reserve price, we ensure every property offered at auction has the best chance of transacting,” he said.

Recently Mr Sassoon set a street record by selling a 57 square metre, two bedroom art deco apartment on Wellington street in Bondi for $627,500.
