New LJ Hooker flagship store unveiled in popular Adelaide market

A new era for real estate in Adelaide’s North East has begun with LJ Hooker Property Specialist merging two of its offices and opening a brand new ‘superstore’.

The sleek premises in the busy hub of Ridgehaven incorporates an existing team already working in the area with staff from its smaller Greenwith office. The significantly larger office premises, formerly a bank, has been completely refurbished providing a flexible layout that will allow the business to continue to grow. The new premises have been specially designed for the business and include two boardrooms and a mezzanine level where staff can relax and recharge.

LJ Hooker Property Specialist principal Michael Fenn, who joined the network in 2002 and has rapidly expanded the business over the past two decades, said it had been a long-term goal to be in a centralised location where customers, clients and employees could feel at home.

“It has been an exciting journey over the past 20 years and it is wonderful to be right in the heart of the shopping, commercial and dining district of the North East providing a newer and better experience for clients,” Mr Fenn said.

“Importantly, we wanted to provide our staff with a first-class working environment, where they’re proud to come to work. We have just moved, and it has just been absolutely amazing – everyone’s energy levels have lifted.”

General Manager of Network, Stephen Mutton, congratulated LJ Hooker Property Specialist on the opening of the impressive new premises. The LJ Hooker network is working closely with outstanding business owners, like Mr Fenn, providing support, strategies and the right tools to expand their market share.

He is also the principal of LJ Hooker Specialist Mawson Lakes and LJ Hooker Property Specialists – Gawler & Barossa, which will continue to operate as a standalone business.

He is confident the new superstore will further enhance the LJ Hooker brand in Adelaide’s popular North East market. The move has also been welcomed by the team of 30 employees who have been settling into their new office space.

“Following the pandemic, whenever possible we avoided having our staff working from home because as real estate people, we enjoy being surrounded by other people,” Mr Fenn said.
