The brand’s latest arrival will “reshape the way we work with agents at an individual level,” according to the network’s top executive in the Sunshine State, Mitch Peereboom.

Daryll Roberts, previously brand manager at Harcourts Hamilton in his native New Zealand, joins the Harcourts Queensland team as performance coach and auctioneer.

He explained that his vision for the role “is multifaceted” due to its hybrid nature, outlining his aim is to carry the network’s quality of service and high level of agent support into his new role.

Mr Roberts will look to do this by “fostering the development of agents who are newer to the industry in such a way that they can go out and confidently continue this tradition and transition to top-notch performers within their target markets.”

Additionally, he detailed plans to collaborate “with existing senior performers and principals to assist them to exceed their goals and grow their business in the face of any competitors.”

Mr Peereboom, chief executive officer at Harcourts Queensland, expressed delight at Mr Roberts’ team bolstering presence, adding the brand is “laser-focused on providing the best support in the industry.”

“I know that our people will welcome his energy and approach to business growth,” he said.

Switching from Harcourts Hamilton over the Queensland outfit allows Mr Roberts to partner with the Harcourts auction team “in the dynamic work they are doing in driving the auction side of Harcourt’s business.”

“I have a particular passion for the auction process; I’m something of a thespian at heart, and enjoy not only the dramatic theatre of the event, but also the nuance involved in the cut and thrust of a good negotiation where I can bring my previous experience to bear in getting the best outcome for our clients and, by extension, our agents,” Mr Roberts concluded.

In addition to Mr Roberts’ arrival, Harcourts have recently expanded its presence in Queensland’s Hervey Bay, added a Melbourne prestige property specialist to its Victorian ranks, and enacted a campaign to boost brand awareness in Western Australia.
