A Brisbane west independent agency has aligned itself with Place Estate Agents, in a move that signifies a coming full circle moment for one of its co-owners.
Husband-and-wife team, Richard and Carrie Bischoff, who co-own an agency in Karana Downs, has revealed that their business has rebranded and will now operate under the Queensland-based real estate group.
According to chief executive Damian Hackett, the recent alignment of the independent agency with Place marked a "returning home" moment for the duo, especially for Mr Bischoff.
Mr Hackett revealed that he had worked with Mr Bischoff in 1996 before the establishment of Place and that they had both been involved in launching the brand in 2002, making his return to the banner a particularly significant moment.
“Richard was previously a valued member of the Place Bulimba team in sales and property management and financial controls; we have great confidence he will thrive under the Place brand again.”
Before opening his own real estate agency with his wife and business partner, the firm highlighted that Mr Bischoff has also worked as a property valuer for CBRE and Propell National Valuers.
Mr Hackett expressed his excitement for the future growth of the newly added team, which consists of sales agents, property managers, a support unit, and administration.
“We are excited to have Richard, Carrie and the entire team become Place people to continue the growth of their already established business,” Mr Hackett stated.
For Mr Bischoff, Place’s strong business model and research-backed method helped them to decide to convert to the brand.
“We’ve always admired the fresh approach and outstanding marketing and we look forward to growing our business further through its tried and tested model,” he explained.
With the office now operating under the Place HQ model, which provides backend and administrative services support to outfits under its banner, Mrs Bischoff stated she is looking forward to her team’s “future growth”.
“We’ve had our eyes set on Place Estate Agents for a long time. Excuse the pun, but this has been our dream, and it’s now falling into ‘Place’,” Mrs Bischoff remarked.
