Stone thrown into Sydney’s ‘booming mortgage belt’

By Kyle Robbins 19 April 2023 | 3 minute read

The boutique agency group has announced its two latest outposts to strengthen its presence in the city’s south-western corridor.

Formerly operating under the Richardson and Wrench banner, the offices, located in Campbelltown and Ingleburn, will be rebranded as Stone Real Estate offices to continue their service of the local region, which dates back 29 years.

All 35 existing staff members will remain under the Stone flag under the guidance of principal Chris Philp, a previous member of the Richardson and Wrench outfit, who boasts 14 years of real estate experience.

Mr Philp, who established his presence in the local region with Stone, having managed local offices in Camden and Gregory Hills.

He explained the latest move feels like coming full circle as he started his career with Richardson and Wrench and is now “returning to the same offices but under the Stone brand,” which he described as having developed a “unique reputation.”

Mr Philp credited the network for their “quality, professionalism, and attention to detail” and sang praises of the staff they boast and their commitment to Stone’s cause.

A local of the area, Mr Philp said the Macarthur region, one of the fastest growing in NSW, caters to a range of buyers, “whether [they’re] in the market for a small apartment or a luxury acreage property.”

He noted the office’s umbrella could potentially extend from Glenfield and Leppington right down to Appin, a small town on the way to Wollongong, before claiming Stone is “perfectly suited to represent the young families who live and work in Macarthur.”

Stone Real Estate’s head of franchise, Luke Cameron, claimed the brand’s latest outpost could offer local clients “an unparalleled real estate experience.”

“Chris and his broader team’s dedication and commitment to high performance has paved the way for their success across the booming Macarthur region, and now they’re bringing their winning formula to Ingleburn and Campbelltown,” he said.

Mr Cameron said the network’s expansion into the region is a “testament to Chris’ unwavering commitment to excellence and the needs of clients.”

Entry into the Macarthur region is the latest action undertaken by Stone this year and follows the establishment of new outposts in Queensland and Sydney’s north-west, as well as the arrival of an acclaimed agent at its Crows Nest outfit
