As its presence in the luxurious market expands, the boutique network has announced the arrival of North Sydney’s leading agent to its team.

BresicWhitney welcomes sales agent Louise Barton and sales associate Jade Prior to its growing Lower North Shore team. Originally hailing from Scotland, Ms Barton brings a wealth of Australian and international real estate experience to the team.

Over the past four years, she has established herself as the leading agent in North Sydney culminating in her position as the suburb’s leading agent.

She explained the opportunity to join BresicWhitney was “too great of an opportunity to let pass by”.

Ms Barton added that she and Ms Prior, herself from Dublin, Ireland, are “delighted to be a part of the team”. Together, the pair join the network from Richardson & Wrench, where they worked together for over three years.

Network chief executive officer, Thomas McGlynn, celebrated Ms Barton for “affirming herself as North Sydney’s leading agent in just a few years, which is a testament to her skill, experience, and absolute passion”.

With BresicWhitney’s ambition to become one of Sydney’s premier property groups gaining momentum, Mr McGlynn explained the process “demands we balance sustainable, strategic growth with a focus and pace that makes it a reality for our people and our clients”.

The arrival of Ms Barton and Ms Prior at the network’s Lower North Shore team comes just one month after Nicholas Christou joined the network from Atlas by LJ Hooker in the role of area specialist.

At the time of Mr Christou’s arrival, Mr McGlynn revealed the network “had a clear focus on building a stronger presence in the Lower North Shore and the Eastern Suburbs”. The appointment of both Ms Barton and Ms Prior further ratifies this position.

Notably one of Sydney’s prestigious markets, North Sydney’s median house price sits at around $2.7 million following a 12-month period of value decline, inspired by the Reserve Bank of Australia’s cash rate hiking cycle and other economic headwinds. Additionally, the median house rent in the region is approximately $1,200, while tenants of units in the suburb can expect to part with around half that, $650, per week.

BresicWhitney hinted additional announcements related to the expansion of its Lower North Shore team will come during the second half of the year.
