A local agent is all about giving back to the community, and his newest business venture is his way of doing so.

Grace Estate Agency aims to assist people with “all their property needs”, according to owner Bradley Milton – but it’s not just about selling property.

The former military man, who has also served for a time as a licensed plumber, also sees it as a way to give back after a “life-changing” event for his family.

Seven years ago, Mr Milton’s wife Maxine suffered a brain bleed shortly after the birth of their fourth child.

“She was unresponsive for seven minutes.”

Sharing that the highly traumatic incident required Mrs Milton to learn how to walk and talk again, Mr Milton said: “We’re blessed my wife is even here, as she was not meant to survive.”

He also shared that the event saw the couple reassess their goals, with their primary focus shifting to assist others.

“It was a traumatic time, but on a spiritual level it was amazing.”

For him: “It really crystalised what’s important in life, and that’s not necessarily working seven days a week, it’s about assisting others.”

Now, Grace Estate Agency will begin its own life with a focus on helping people buy and sell property.

Down the track, the agency has hinted at expansion plans into the property management space.

Powered by Agents’Agency, the new venture will focus on “openness and transparency” in the sales space.

According to Mr Milton, this involves compiling a complete dossier about each and every listed property to prospective buyers.

From his perspective: “If you’re looking after someone’s greatest asset, you should know it as well as the owners do.”

“This information then allows us to match the right buyers with the property and gives them the confidence to purchase.”

Looking ahead, the agent said: “We want people to feel that dealing with us is like family.”

“We fought hard to get into a position where we can help others and now that opportunity is here.”

That opportunity encapsulates the family’s hopes to also purchase a large acreage property that will create a safe space for those without suitable accommodation.
