At this year’s ceremony, that award went to Sarah Bell, co-founder of Aire Software and principal, innovation and industry, at CoreLogic Australia, after she won the Innovator of the Year – Individual award earlier that evening.

Since its inception in 2013, the REB Awards have showcased the depth of talent of the leading professionals and businesses in Australia’s real estate industry who go above and beyond for their clients and propel the industry forward. The awards also affirm the sector’s essential role in supporting the expansion of the economy.

The 2024 awards ceremony will celebrate the achievements of agents, networks, innovators, leaders and property managers.

The awards will be judged by a panel of highly respected professionals and business leaders, who will assess each submission against the criteria of each award category.

The judges score each part of the submission across the category’s criteria, giving an aggregated score. A number of judges will individually assess each submission for each category, offering a blended score and assessment.

The combined judging scores for each submission for each category are tabulated, with the highest-scoring submission deemed the winner.

The judging criteria for award categories is both quantitative and qualitative, acknowledging growth, business development, diversity, leadership, innovation, business excellence and contribution to Australia’s real estate sector.

All businesses and professionals who met eligibility criteria from across Australia’s real estate were encouraged to participate in the awards program.

REB editor Grace Ormsby said that this year’s finalists are among good company, representing the best of the best across the Australian real estate profession.

“Each year, it becomes a harder and harder task for our judges to whittle down the submissions to just one winner.

“We can’t wait to recognise and celebrate the achievements of agents, property managers, business owners and professionals the country over at the REB Awards 2024.

“On behalf of the entire REB team, congratulations to all finalists named. Your hard work, persistence and business acumen are on show for the world to see! We’ll see you all at Sydney’s The Star in February!”
