The Nambour-based office gives Harcourts an expanded scope in one of Queensland’s hottest markets.
The owners of the newly named Harcourts Hinterland, Lina Hosier and Michael Scott, are Sunshine Coast locals with a passion for their community as well as a keen eye on its potential.
The area has proven to be one of the most popular locales in the country for Australians looking to leave city life behind. And while this trend was primarily propelled by changes in attitude towards remote and hybrid working lifestyles that were most prominent around the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has continued to drive real estate interest in the Sunshine Coast.
“Towns like Nambour, Woombye, Yandina, and Palmwoods have seen exceptional growth the last few years and it’s still thriving,” Mr Scott noted.
“People want to live here; they see the lifestyle and flexibility of having the Sunshine Coast at a quieter pace.”
The duo felt that not only was Harcourts a good match for them personally, but the brand’s values aligned with the community spirit that they know and love.
“Harcourts is a natural fit for Michael and myself. We believe in putting people first and focusing on good old-fashioned values,” Ms Hosier said.
“We approach our clients like family and that resonates with this side of the Sunny Coast,” she added.
