Stockdale & Leggo’s newest executive-level appointment brings a former sales agent into a marketing and media role.

Alex Iannelli has taken on a new position as marketing and franchise executive for the Melbourne-based network, following what the brand has described as a “meteoric rise” through the ranks.

Iannelli first joined Stockdale & Leggo as a sales assistant in Craigieburn in 2020. In February this year, she was appointed to her current role as marketing and franchise executive at Stockdale & Leggo’s Mount Waverley-based head office.

“More and more clients are using an agent’s online presence to gauge their approach before making a decision on which agent to buy or sell with, said Iannelli.

“Agents themselves are curious about the digital space and are interested in learning about how they can use it as a marketing tool to connect with their clients,” she said. “I’m able to help them on that journey on modernising marketing processes to adapt to a digital world.”

Prior to her appointment as marketing and franchise executive, Iannelli spent 12 months in London where she continued to operate Stockdale & Leggo’s social media channels remotely.

She noted that her varied experience in sales and marketing has enabled her to “look at things from a buyer, seller, agent, or creative perspective which helps me understand exactly what they are looking for”.

Going forward, Iannelli is keen to continue to build on the brand’s digital capacities, with a particular focus on the emerging sector of artificial intelligence (AI).

Despite believing that AI is set to play an increasingly prominent role in managing system processes, Iannelli stressed that people and connection will continue to be the beating heart of the real estate industry.

“My role is really just to celebrate our people and provide them with the tools to elevate their successes with digital strategies and help bring Stockdale & Leggo into the digital age,” said Iannelli.

Charlotte Pascoe, chief executive officer and director of Stockdale & Leggo, suggested that Iannelli’s diverse background will help her add a distinctive touch to the brand’s marketing direction.

“Alex understands the nuances of being an agent, what they need to elevate their market share and, most importantly, how technology can get them to where they want to go faster,” said Pascoe.

The CEO added that Iannelli “is an extremely impressive individual and her impact has already been felt across the network”.

“We are so excited to have her leading this part of the organisation,” Pascoe concluded.
