A real estate veteran and Central Coast local will lead Raine & Horne’s newest office in The Entrance, amid the growing demand in the area.
Raine & Horne announced that the current principal of the network’s Killarney Vale outpost, Paul Denny, has opened a new office in the coastal town of The Entrance.
The new office will service the entire 2261 postcode on the Central Coast, spanning from Magenta Shore to Bateau Bay and out to Chittaway Bay.
Veteran realtor, Denny, started his career in 1983 after working for the state’s Crown Solicitor’s Office for eight years, first as a property manager in Bankstown, before opening up his own office in Cronulla, where he served as principal and owner for several years.
After moving with his family to the Central Coast in 1994 and purchasing an office in The Entrance, Denny expanded his business by opening offices in the nearby suburbs of Berkeley Vale and Tumbi Umbi.
Executive chairman of Raine & Horne, Angus Raine, said that Denny’s more than three decades of real estate experience in the area made him the “ideal choice” to lead the brand’s newest Central Coast office.
“Paul has previously operated as a principal in The Entrance with another group and has led Raine & Horne Killarney Vale superbly since 2019. He brings unmatched local knowledge, leadership and passion for the 2261 postcode,” Raine said.
Drawing on his local knowledge, Denny said that The Entrance has become increasingly popular among investors, downsizers and first home buyers, making it the right time for him to re-enter the area’s market with Raine & Horne.
“For first home buyers and downsizers, the area remains affordable compared to other coastal locations, especially with many houses in The Entrance still priced under the million-dollar mark,” he explained.
While Denny explained that investor demand for apartments remains strong in the market, he emphasised that interest from owner-occupiers has still run just as high.
“We’re seeing growing demand from those looking to settle in the area permanently – whether it’s first home buyers or retirees in search of a relaxed beachside lifestyle.”
To further capitalise on buyer interest on the Central Coast, both Raine & Horne’s The Entrance and Killarney Vale offices will also focus on rural listings to meet the increased demand in areas such as Dooralong and Yarramalong.
“We have seven of eight big acreages for sale, and plenty of enquiries from people with an interest in equestrian activities,” Denny explained.
Amid the region’s surge in popularity, Denny said that his new office still aims to offer real estate services tailored towards local residents.
“Local residents want an agency that’s truly on the ground,” Denny said.
“Too often, other agencies rotate agents from elsewhere to The Entrance. Many of our team live and work here, and know this market intimately,” he concluded.
