A seasoned real estate professional will leverage his diverse background to deliver tailored services and a unique sales perspective to the Gold Coast market.
The new Fisher Estate Agents office will be led by the titular principal and founder, Ben Fisher, who has launched the Gold Coast agency in partnership with the real estate platform URBAN X.
Alongside his decade of real estate experience across several major Australian brands, Fisher brings a broad range of professional insights from his previous roles in the banking and hospitality sectors.
After finishing high school, Fisher first worked at a major bank and developed his professionalism, discipline, and structure that he said has been vital to his success in the real estate sector.
Fisher then pivoted into the hospitality sector and honed his interpersonal and service skills while running a restaurant for two years, before moving between roles within the real estate sales, transport, import, and commercial property management sectors.
Fisher said that his passion for property was the biggest motivator behind his decision to fully focus on a career in real estate sales.
He explained that he particularly values the opportunity to guide people through “one of the most significant transactions of their lives”.
“Negotiating a life-changing deal is something that truly fuels my drive, knowing that my expertise and advice can have a profound impact on someone’s future is incredibly rewarding,” Fisher said.
While Fisher has never looked back since concentrating on real estate sales, he said that working in various professions and coming to real estate “later in life” greatly helped to shape his professional mindset.
“I’ve been lucky to have enjoyed a variety of professions over my career and feel fortunate because these experiences have given me a profound appreciation for what we have, who we are, and the opportunities available to us,” he explained.
Now, at the beginning of another new chapter in his career, Fisher said that his partnership with URBAN X provided him with the necessary resources to open his own independent real estate agency in the coastal suburb of Paradise Point.
“From the beginning, URBAN X didn’t take a step back – even when I pushed hard! The look, feel, and expertise of URBAN X has been everything I wanted and more,” he said.
As the principal of his own independent agency, Fisher said that he is excited to strengthen his presence in the Gold Coast market and promote further growth for the newly opened Fisher Estate Agents.
Even though he acknowledged that this latest venture is far from his “first rodeo”, he said that working to open the doors to the new Fisher Estate Agents office has by far been his “most exciting ride”.
“I’m pumped to initiate my principles, processes and philosophies, and the future, while opaque, still infuses me with excitement and wonder,” Fisher concluded.
