Following its expansion across the Central West, McGrath Riverina’s newest member will leverage his local knowledge and two decades of real estate experience to drive success in regional NSW.
Real estate agent Ian Simpson has joined McGrath Riverina under the Pellow family to enhance the agency’s services as it expands its coverage into Forbes, Parkes, Condobolin, and the surrounding communities.
Simpson draws on deep local insight and a strong work ethic rooted in his heritage as a fourth-generation farmer along the Lachlan River in Forbes, values passed down from his grandfather Frank and father Keith that have shaped his real estate career for over 20 years.
Through his skill set, Simpson built a reputation across the Central West in previous leadership roles as the principal of LJ Hooker Forbes | Canowindra | Condobolin | Parkes, and head of LJ Hooker’s national rural franchise network, before he launched his agency, Ian Simpson & Co.
Following a brief break from agency life to focus on family and farming, Simpson has returned to the industry, joining McGrath Riverina, where he aims to leverage his passion for real estate and forming interpersonal connections to achieve further success on the Central West.
“I’ve always loved real estate – not just the property side, but the people,” Simpson explained.
Simpson’s debut at McGrath Riverina coincided with the Central West agency’s expansion into Forbes, Parkes, Condobolin and the surrounding areas.
The network said Simpson’s appointment would set them up for success in these markets.
McGrath said that Simpson will bring a hands-on and detail-oriented approach to the team of its Riverina outpost, which previously helped the agent to notch up a sale of $5.2 million in Mount Hope, and transactions of $4.8 million in both Condobolin and Peak Hill.
Moreover, the network also noted that its new team members’ connection to the Central West goes beyond the real estate sector, with Simpson being an active member in the local community who has supported a range of school fundraisers and paddock-to-plate gardening programs.
Highlighting the alignment between his and McGrath’s professional values, Simpson shared that he aims to continue helping clients achieve their real estate ambitions while giving back to the place and community he calls home.
“Coming back into the industry with McGrath feels like the right move. The brand is aligned with my values – it’s professional, genuine, and focused on quality,” Simpson concluded.
