Real estate network Harcourts Rata & Co has announced its expansion into Melbourne’s booming western suburbs, launching a new office under the leadership of highly decorated agent Nathan Hunt.

The new branch, Harcourts Rata & Co West, marks a strategic move for the group, building on its strong foundation in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. The expansion will be supported by the existing leadership team at Harcourts Rata & Co.

Hunt, who boasts more than a decade of industry experience, is no stranger to the western property market. He has been recognised as six-time Agent of the Year for Caroline Springs, six-time winner for Burnside Heights, and four-time winner for Burnside.

“I’m hitting the ground running backed by the team at Rata & Co,” Hunt said. “Whether you’re selling, leasing or purchasing; and either a first-time home buyer, seasoned investor or downsizer, I’m dedicated to helping you achieve your property aspirations with professionalism, expertise, and a genuine passion for the community.”

Harcourts Rata & Co executive director, Robert Ozzimo, said the move into the west was a natural next step for the network.

“It’s a new frontier. We are looking to establish in the west the likes of the network we have grown in the north,” he said.

“Nathan is a top 10, award-winning real estate agent with over a thousand five-star reviews. We’re very excited to have him lead this new development.”

CEO of Harcourts Victoria, Adam Fiteni, praised Hunt’s alignment with the brand.

“Nathan Hunt joining the team at Harcourts Rata & Co is the perfect fit,” Fiteni said.

“Nathan is an elite agent joining a powerhouse team and together they will achieve great success. Nathan will not only have the full support of Harcourts Rata & Co, but also the full Harcourts network. Nathan’s loyalty to the Harcourts brand is unwavering and we will do whatever it takes to help him go from strength to strength.”

The new office opening reflects Harcourts’ broader strategy of targeting Melbourne’s fastest-growing areas as the city’s property landscape continues to evolve.
