Barry Plant has begun the rollout of its new networkwide leadership development program, which offers insights from one of the nation’s foremost real estate trainers.
Corporate trainer and author, Lee Woodward, created the new program in partnership with Barry Plant to deliver a tailored leadership and training program for its network.
Barry Plant said that the program curated by Woodward would take the form of a fully integrated growth initiative that spans both in-person and online coaching.
As part of the development program, Woodward will also helm the creation of bespoke training assets for the Barry Plant network to implement and offer a mid-year delivery of his popular Complete Salesperson Course.
Barry Plant said that Woodward will bring a “different perspective” to professional training, noting that excellence in listing doesn’t automatically translate to excellence in leadership.
Woodward shared that he was excited to work with the Barry Plant team, and explained that the partnership represented a “real full-circle moment” for his training career.
“More than decade ago, Barry Plant purchased my audio library for internal training,” Woodward said.
“Now, CEO Lisa Pennell and the group’s growth team has brought me on board to deliver my in-person 2025 training programs,” he added.
With the new training program in its early stages, Woodward shared that he has already noticed the results within Barry Plant’s personnel.
“I’m seeing firsthand how the group has evolved – and watching the success of people who once trained using my materials is incredibly rewarding,” Woodward said.
Barry Plant highlighted that the first leadership session with Woodward drew enough demand to warrant moving the second session to a larger venue.
Director of Barry Plant Warragul-Drouin, Chris Hill, who attended Woodward’s first leadership session, offered high praise for the trainer’s program.
“It’s a real game changer for business owners and leaders, providing clarity and focus on what truly matters,” Hill said.
“I’m genuinely excited to keep learning everything I can from Lee,” he added.
Barry Plant CEO Lisa Pennell said the new training program would give a “significant edge” to the brand’s agents and leaders.
“Lee brings decades of hands-on experience, and we’re thrilled to be able to draw on that knowledge as we continue to evolve and grow,” Pennell concluded.
