One Agency has announced the opening of its seventh new business this year, with the launch of One Agency Rob McGregor Real Estate in Surfers Paradise, Queensland. The move continues the network’s steady expansion, with an additional seven offices scheduled to open by 31 July.
The new Surfers Paradise office will be led by respected industry veteran Rob McGregor, who brings decades of experience operating within the traditional franchise model. McGregor said the decision to join One Agency was driven by a desire for greater autonomy and operational control, paired with a commitment to client-focused service.
“This move is about unlocking scale without sacrificing identity,” McGregor said. “One Agency offers the infrastructure, brand recognition and support – without the red tape. For me, it’s the right model at the right time.”
One Agency credited McGregor’s longstanding success on the Gold Coast to his deep local market knowledge, strong client relationships, and a high-conversion negotiation style.
Welcoming McGregor to the network, One Agency founder and CEO Paul Davies said: “Rob brings with him credibility, discipline and a sharp understanding of what it takes to lead a business in today’s market.
“He’s not only a strong operator – he’s a strategic thinker who sees beyond the transaction. The network welcomes him into our growing community.”
The group said it expects continued growth across Australia and New Zealand in the months ahead. A key driver of that momentum is the network’s proprietary media and marketing portal, which includes a suite of campaign systems, marketing frameworks, collateral and lead generation tools.
Global head of membership, Mindy Powell-Hodges, noted that McGregor’s outlook aligns closely with One Agency’s values.
“Rob embodies the values we stand for – clarity, drive and genuine connection,” she said.
“His decision to join One Agency sends a clear message to the market: you don’t have to sacrifice independence to operate at scale.”
