Barry Plant Mildura has appointed Clem De Rosa as operations and growth manager, bringing a wealth of experience to assist the agency’s commitment to growth and innovation.

Veteran agent, Clem De Rosa, will join Barry Plant Mildura following a 20 years old longstanding relationships with the agency directors Tense Venneri and Matt Mason.

Mason said De Rosa’s experience in land development, property sales, project management, and mentoring will be a valuable asset to the team.

“Our shared vision for growth and our long-term friendship with Clem were instrumental in bringing him on board,” he said.

“This isn’t just a hire – it’s a pivotal move to drive the business forward.”

De Rosa and Mason first met at a local football club when De Rosa was the reserves coach, and Mason was a player.

They reunited years later at a major real estate network, working together before De Rosa left in 2012 to establish and lead CDR Property, a division of an accounting firm.

At CDR, De Rosa focused on investment properties, project management, land sales and property subdivision.

Despite CDR Property’s success, De Rosa said that Venneri made a “throwaway comment” suggesting that he should return to a more traditional real estate setting.

“At the time, I wasn’t sure how serious the offer was. But a month later, I spoke with Matt, and it became clear they were serious. From there, we mapped out a role that made sense for everyone,” De Rosa said.

De Rosa’s new role will focus on three key areas, including mentoring emerging sales agents, further strengthening the management team, and leading recruitment to support continued business growth.

He said that at Barry Plant Mildura, he’ll be able to return to a team-based environment, leverage his 15 years of experience in mainstream real estate and the skills he developed while running CDR Property.

“I’ve coached footy for years and genuinely enjoy helping people develop,” he said. “If this had been a pure sales role, it wouldn’t have interested me – but this role allows me to do what I enjoy most: working with people and helping them grow.”

“The structure, support and culture at Barry Plant made the decision an easy one. I’m looking forward to what we can achieve together,” he said.

Barry Plant Mildura said De Rosa’s appointment marked a new phase for the network, allowing for strategic growth and opportunity with a focus on talent development, team culture and innovation.
