REB RANKINGS Top50Agents 2025 QLD reb2 lcuysm

REB is pleased to publish the fifth consecutive state-based ranking revealing the top 50 agents in Queensland for 2025.

The fifth annual state-based ranking and associated report have highlighted the top-performing agents in the Sunshine State who have achieved outstanding sales figures during the 2024 calendar year.

Run in support with sponsor Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), the ranking has set the benchmark for excellence that other agents can aspire to emulate.

The ranking acknowledges that no two property markets are the same and spotlights agents who employed a local approach in providing tailored customer service to their vendors and buyers.

It was a strong year for Queensland’s top-performing agents, with both the top 50 and top 10 agents seeing significant gains in the number and value of properties sold.

Indeed, the state’s top 50 agents sold a total of 4,967 properties for $7.3 billion in 2025, up by 28.2 per cent and 37.8 per cent respectively, from the 3,873 properties that sold for $5.3 billion the previous year.

The top 50 agents sold an average of 99 properties for $146 million in 2025, compared to 77 properties for $105.9 million the previous year, representing a rise of 31 per cent and 38 per cent respectively.

Similarly, the top 10 agents also saw a sizeable increase of 9.4 per cent in average properties sold, rising to 116 properties for a value of $254.8 million, reflecting a 24.5 per cent rise.

Days on market remained stable at 34 days, up modestly from 32 days the previous year across the top 50 agents, while days on market remained at 32 days across the top 10 agents.

The average sales price rose from $1.67 million to $1.77 million across the top 50 and from $2.25 million to $2.45 million across the top 10 agents, reflecting market conditions of increasing property prices.

Alex Jordan, sales agent at McGrath Estate Agents, regained the number one spot after slipping to second place in the 2024 ranking. Last year’s top-ranked agent, Michael Kollosche, managing director at Kollosche, dropped to second place. Tony O’Doherty, principal and agent at McGrath Estate Agents, maintained third position for the second year.

Jesse Weinberg, executive manager - head of propositions business banking at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, said: “CommBank is delighted to sponsor the Real Estate Business Top 100 Agents Ranking and Top 50 Agents per State Ranking, recognising outstanding achievements across the real estate industry. The real estate industry plays a vital role in the Australian economy and shares CommBank’s commitment to building a brighter future for all by supporting our customers in achieving their personal and business goals. The impressive increase in both sales volumes and values is a credit to the hard work, adaptability and local expertise of agents across the state.”
